Biographical history

John and Ethel Acreman were married in 1915 and resided in Esquimalt, B.C. with their children, Doris and Douglas. John Acreman was Esquimalt's Chief of Police from 1926 to 1930.

Gift of Doris Johnston; 1 accession donated in 1991. Doris is the daughter of John and Ethel Acreman.

The fonds consists of family photographs of the Acreman family and friends in Esquimalt, including wedding photograph of John and Ethel Acreman (1915) and photographs of Acreman children. Fonds also includes photocopies of some photographs with handwritten notes made by donor.
