Cousland, J. Alistair

Alistair Cousland was born October 17, 1931 and was a fourth generation Victorian. He was a nephew of Gladys Wake, and grandson of John and Ada Matson. Ada lived at the former Croft family home, Mount Adelaide, until her death in 1957.
Alistair attended Glenlyon, Brentwood College, Uvic, and UBC and was an active member of the Union Club. He was married to Teresa and had three children. He passed away April 12, 2017.

Alistair's aunt, Nursing Sister Gladys Maude Mary Wake, was a member of the Canadian Army Medical Corps. She enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF) on January 6, 1916. Gladys died in Etaples, France on May 21, 1918, after the Germans bombed the Canadian hospital.

The Conway family were residents of Esquimalt, B.C. William (Bill) Conway's parents were Edward Conway and Alice Conway, nee Atkins. Bill was married to Edith May Conway, nee Kinat.

Comerford, Christopher

Christopher, known as "Kelly", was born in Esquimalt in 1911. He married Marion Plumb in 1942. They had four children; William, born in 1944, Patricia and Robert (no birth year supplied) and Mark, born in 1956. 'Kelly' worked as an engineer in the dockyard.

Collison, Kenneth M.

Kenneth M. Collison was born October 1, 1922 in Prince Rupert, BC. He married Gwendolene Ellis on March 21, 1944 and had two children: Elaine (b. 1946) and Judith (b. 1950). Ken was a priest and served with the Anglican Church until he retired in 1987. He moved to Esquimalt in 1985 after purchasing a home on Craigflower Rd.
