William Curley (age 25, bachelor) and Phyllis Rhona Lockley (age 29, spinster) married on 27Oct1945 at St. Paul's Naval and Garrison Church, Esquimalt, BC. William, a foundary moulder, was born at Sturgis, SK to James Curley and Sadie Cust (both born Romania). Phyllis, a law office stenographer, was born at Victoria, BC to Alexander Lockley (born ENG) and Florence Louise Carter (born BC).
Phyllis provided an oral history in 1990. A transcribed copy can be viewed/obtained from the Esquimalt Municipal Archives.
