Mary Wakelin's parents owned this house at 870 Esquimalt Rd. near Head St. The house was later owned by the Comerford family in the 1930's aand 1940's and taken down to make way for commercial development in 1965.
Alexander "Sandy" McLean was a long time Esquimalt resident who was in the navy and sailed on aircraft carrier HMCS Magnificient.
