George Edward Green was born May 25, 1920, in Bellevue, Alberta. He married Ellen Smith on June 1, 1942, and had two sons. In 1959 Mr. Green joined the Esquimalt Municipality. He was Foreman Mechanic at the time of his retirement in 1983.
