Marjorie Hawker (nee Coton) was a resident of Esquimalt. She was born July 12, 1919. Her parents came from England to Esquimalt where they ran a corner store, known as "Round the Corner" or "Coton's". She was a member of St. Paul's Church and volunteered at the Esquimalt Archives. She and her husband, Bill, had two children, Jeffery and Mary. Marjorie passed away August 7, 2008.

Muriel (Bourne) Harwood is the daughter of Herbert Frederick Bourne and Mabel Reynolds. Herbert Bourne served as the Municipal Engineer for Esquimalt from 1917 to 1937.
Alf Harvey was born in Esquimalt, 1909. He was educated in Esquimalt Schools & Vancouver Technical School. Alf became a boat builder and worked at Ocean Falls, 1932-64; last 6 years as town site manager. In 1965 he was Gold River Superintendent. Alf lived in Esquimalt 1909-1922, Vancouver 1922-1932, and Ocean Falls 1932-1964. He retired to Esquimalt and died September 2000.

Agnes (Nessie) Margaret Mitchell was born to William George Mitchell and Annie (Cameron) on February 7th, 1917. Nessie was married to her first husband, Frederick Thomas Scafe, in May,1937. He died suddenly a few months later. After returning home from overseas duty in 1946, Nessie boarded in Esquimalt with Josephine Godman on what is now Plaskett Place . She married Edward (Ted). G. Hart (b. 1908 in Victoria) in 1953. Ted passed away in 1993. Nessie passed away August 12, 2004.
