John Lock, grandfather of donor (Walter Lock) died during WWII. Fred and Isobel Lock moved to Ladysmith before Walter Lock went overseas. They opened up a shop there. The building on 4th Ave. in Ladysmith is still there.

Lillian and Percy Ford in front of their home at 1112 Greenwood Avenue ca. 1930. The Ford's house was built in 1919 and they lived there until 1959. Lillian Ford is the donor's aunt. The Parry house is visible next door at 1110 Greenwood Avenue.
