The S.S. Distributor tied up behind 507 Head Street. Captain Victor Jacobson bought it in 1913. The family lived aboard for some years.

The Laurenson's welcome Eva Marie Sweeney, daughter of Captain Victor Jacobson, to the restored house at 507 Head Street where she grew up. Mrs. Sweeney died a year later in 1981.

Original newell post carved by original builder of the house, Captain Victor Jacobson in 1892, re-installed at the foot of the stairs by the Laurenson's. The post was missing from the house from 1961 until its reinstallation in 1984.
