Sketch by local Esquimalt artist, Gladys Durrant of the ship "Princess Maquinna" who served the isolated west coast of Vancouver Island for 4 decades. The sketch was drawn from a B.C. government photograph. This is one of two sketches that were completed, but never used, for Gladys's local history book called Seafarers, Saints, & Sinners.

Blank notecard with sketch by Gladys Durrant depicting Lampson Street School. The reverse reads " Built in 1903, declared unsound, and rebuilt in 1913, with Thomas Hooper as architect in the Georgian Revival style." It was closed in 1976 owing to declining enrolment. It was declared a Heritage Building in February 1990 and after extensive renovations reopened in the Spring of 1993".
