        Kenneth (Ken) Bendall was born to William Henry Bendall and Lillian (Lily) Maud Mary Bendall, nee Medder in 1925. His grandparents were Frederick John Bendall and Susan Jane Louise Bendall, nee Hayes. Ken was a resident of Esquimalt and attended school in here. He worked as an Assistant Foreman at Yarrows Ltd. from 1939 to 1990. Ken had five brothers and one sister; Doris, Frank, Bud, Don, Roy and Dave. Ken got married to Doris Marie Sather in 1947.
