Kenneth (Ken) William Richmond (1908-1995) was raised in Esquimalt, the son of Mary Ann and William Richmond, both from Yorkshire. He was the second youngest of 11 children. Ken Richmond worked for Victoria Brass & Iron workers (Owners Burnett Bros). He married Rita Gertrude Cottell (1911-1994).
