Use for: St. Paul's Church (1866-1903)

• St. Paul's Church was originally located at the foot of Signal Hill. Following concern that the church would suffer damage during gunnery practice from the Signal Hill battery, the church was relocated to its present location. This original location was never within the jurisdictional boundaries of Esquimalt and forms part of present-day CFB Esquimalt.

• Macaulay Point is still owned by the federal government. In 1985, Mayor Ken Hill of Esquimalt signed a 99 year lease with the Canadian Government granting Esquimalt leave to trespass on Macaulay Point for recreational and historical purposes.
