Biografie

Gwilym Baugh-Allen was born in Chilliwack, B.C., in 1890 and moved to Victoria in 1908 when his father, the Rev. Wilmot Baugh-Allen, was called to serve Christ Church Cathedral, and then St. Paul's Naval Church in Esquimalt, B.C. Gwilym Baugh-Allen was educated in Victoria and was called to the bar in 1917. He eventually became senior partner in the law firm of Jackson, Baugh-Allen and Ross. Gwilym Baugh-Allen died in 1980.

Gift of Elizabeth D. LeGallais; 3 accessions donated between 1985 and 1986. LeGallais was a neighbour to Gwilym Baugh-Allen.

Elizabeth LeGallais provided an oral history in 1990. A transcription can be viewed/obtained from the Esquimalt Municipal Archives.
