Biographical history

The Brown family lived in Hedley, B.C., and were involved in mining at the Nickle Plate Mine. The house at 1182 Old Esquimalt Road (now 706 Warder Place) was built in 1913 for Percival R. Brown. Herbert P.R. Brown is a grandson of Percival.
