Biographical history
Victor A. Simmons was born in Victoria, B.C. in 1913 and resided there as well as in Port Alberni. He married Beth Dobbie in 1937 and they had two daughters. He was in the retail clothing business in Victoria, and has had several articles published in the Islander Magazine. Victor lived in Esquimalt from 1977 until his death in 1995.

The fonds consists of the rules and regulations for the Esquimalt Branch of the Scottish Daughters' League; photographs of the Admiral's House at HMC Dockyard, the West Bay Walkway, and a watercolour print of the opening of the Naden Drydock with the docking of HMS Cormorant in 1887.
