Biographical history
William (Bill) Rutherford was born in England and came to Esquimalt, B.C., in ca. 1922. He was a mechanic and owner of the Thoburn Garage, 852 Esquimalt Rd (now demolished). Garage was owned by his father before him. Mr. W. Rutherford was married to Alden.
