Biographical history
Alf Harvey was born in Esquimalt, 1909. He was educated in Esquimalt Schools & Vancouver Technical School. Alf became a boat builder and worked at Ocean Falls, 1932-64; last 6 years as town site manager. In 1965 he was Gold River Superintendent. Alf lived in Esquimalt 1909-1922, Vancouver 1922-1932, and Ocean Falls 1932-1964. He retired to Esquimalt and died September 2000.
Alf provided an oral history in 1991. A transcript can be viewed/obtained from the Esquimalt Municipal Archives.
